Don't know if this has any significance, but I saw a clear p-bar on the 15 min. candle chart, to 122.94, near the top of the hour (1:00 pm). It was there until the next bar started, so I'm leery of it's meaning. But, taken in conjunction with Uempel's call for a 13:30 move, I took a punter on a bunch of SDS puts (100 Jan contracts). See you at 122.94...
Nice trade!

I disagree. I think swing trading is less risky. I'm a 67% swing trader, 33% day trader.

That's why I've been swing trading with ETFs and day trading with options. So i can leverage the easier trade. When I was swing trading with options the gaps were so difficult to handle.

The market ignores basic technical analysis principles most of time.

Okay guys (and gals if there are any), let's take a poll. Where do we close on SPX today? Just your best "guess".

Mine: 1212, after it bounces off of support at 1210.

agnosia said he worked in tech for GS. i never worked for GS, but i worked for a fund in one of the GS buildings.

did he not like us copying his oil trades? that guy would always get in at the bottom tick and out at the top tick of his /CL day trades...hmmmm...lol

Need to take out LOD soon and invalidate this inverted H&S

Just look at the "ownership" of the US stock market, and you can tell why most of the participants are wrong most of the time :)

34% housholds, which makes you think this is an easy manipulated market by leveraged HFT traders, just look at todays price action, ridiculous

so it is REALLY a better idea to follow forex or bond charts to get a clue about what might happen in the future

I see strong support there, let see VIX need to drop further to support the support theory, TNX show some life in it, so far LOD is getting clearer.
