I don't think this is the bottom in GOLD but maybe could bounce (somewhere around here) after smallish wave down, I am still short there from 1410 (MA150) (took some profit today tho)

Stopped out of Corn flat.
Short crude (toe in the water)
Long GDX
Long gold this AM
Both GDX and gold hang on this support level holding...
Short SEMI's (toe in the water)
Long Coffee, IACI, END
Gold is at a critical moment. Either this pattern pays or it's back to test the lows.
Not for the faint of heart.

QE taper kneejerk is a buy the dip. Later the inability to unwind debt may be something else though.

Current state of chemical weapons talks:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142 ... 47312.html
Seems Assad is starting to make some demands, hence the pullback I'm guessing.
The Syrian leader said Damascus wouldn't fulfill the agreement "unilaterally," but would require reciprocal steps from the U.S. to stop threats against his government and halt arms supplies to "terrorists," the Assad regime's term for the rebels who are backed by the U.S. and its allies.

This ain't a political blog and I'm glad it ain't - but this vivid bbc article suggests that the rebels are no different than the governement troops. It's a civil war and that's about it. Whoever want's to join the killing is out of his/her mind...
