Dow has made lower high and lower low.
Looks like a downtrend has started. We'll see if other indexes follow.
Today's low reached the November high and is close to the 50 day MA.
This should be a support area. So, it is fair to look for a bounce or at least consolidation.
Plunging through this area would not be good.
How this next move unfolds (I am assuming it is a bounce) will be pretty key IMO.

VIX daily.. possible resistance a tad higher.. but break that then look for red or higher.

I think, VIX looking tired at this level and may turn back. to hit red or higher seems like a dream now days! LOL..unless Obama resigned!

SPX 15m... on the trend line from Oct 2013 lows... should this hold.. could be building an ascending yellow triangle for the bulls.. but break it.. look for gap fill, then 1810ish.. mind the possible yellow/pink minor triangle.. should we chop around here today.. and part of Friday?

I read this pullback as the 2nd test of day low so if cannot make a decisive new low then the low might be in for today, so key time.

I am expecting beef prices to be much higher this year. Here in California we are in the midst of a two year drought. Cattle farmers have to feed hay, at much higher expense, since the grazing grasses are non existent due to no rain. The snow pack, from where we get nearly all our water, is around 17% of normal for this time of year and very little rain in the extended forecast. Guessing the Midwest has not fared much better as the extreme cold must have had some impact on cattle ranches as well. fwiw

Yes sir, I have family out your way. It would surprise me if all foodstuffs don't inflate in the next years with a cooler sun cycle and oil costs eventually spiking. Just an opinion though, not tradable.
