I asked on the weekend blog, however you might have missed it, how did you know that there was 3.7 billion POMO left for release for today? Is it on the POMO site? Was that from you own calculations that you keep from a record of what has been released? I found the their site that they only released 242.069 $B today. Can they carry the rest forward into April?flumanchu wrote:.
Still - SPX 1876 today - based on POMO.
1790 for End of April.
Beware: POMO schedule comes out at 3:00 EST. If it's weak the next week or so, there could be a selloff to frontrun the weakness coming. POMO can only do so much. If there's enough fear, then fear will take precedence and they'll step back and hold the POMO funds for another day - get the bears to short as much as possible, and then ramp it up to burn them. POMO and bears have driven this market for the last 5 years.

Thank you fehro, I have been using those links. However, that does not answer my question, as the schedule did not indicate any release for March 31st and as I stated above, only the 242.069 $B, has been released today as seen in the "Temporary" file. So, I am wondering if there is a carry forward for April? I am asking the question, more specifically, how flumanchu knew that 3.7 million was left for today. There was and estimated $3.75 - $4.50 billion scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2014, however there was no schedule for an Outright Treasury Coupon Purchase for March 31,2014. Do you see my confusion?fehro wrote:http://www.newyorkfed.org/markets/tot_o ... edule.html Check "current schedule" and "all schedule" tabsALdaytrade wrote:I asked on the weekend blog, however you might have missed it, how did you know that there was 3.7 billion POMO left for release for today?
