$TYX closed above its 20day MA for the first time in August, yest.

30yr yield is still about where it closed. Also went Elder green bar, on 8.25--first time this month...

Also.. ROC-12 is above zero, again first time this month.

MA 9 at 1996 might halt this rally, if SPX goes further it's MA 377

The “Bullish Three Gaps Down” candle pattern referred to in the weekend post was supplanted by yesterday’s “Bullish Harami” candle.
“The Bullish Harami is a sign of disparity in the market’s health. The market is characterized by a downtrend and a bearish mood, and there is heavy selling … which further supports the bearishness. However, the next day [yesterday] prices open higher … and the short traders are alarmed. This leads to the covering of many short positions, causing the price to rise further. The latecomers short the trend they missed the first time, and slow down the rise. Thus, a small white body is formed. This may signal a trend reversal since the second day’s [yesterday’s] small real body shows that the bearish power is diminishing. The confirmation level is defined as the last close or the midpoint of the first black body, whichever is higher. Prices should cross above this level for confirmation.” [Bullish Harami was confirmed above 194.46 this morning].

RSI 200 broke the center line at 50, quite bullish if it can stay above this level.

Just woke up and realized the ES buystop at 1951 set from a few days ago was executed. Same targets 1980 and 2000. I took half off at 1973, hard stop at 1960 for the rest. Still trying to conquer my jetlag schedule, good luck all.

Fehro, CL to close above daily 8EMA for two days might start the two legged deadcat bounce finally. Thoughts?

watch the weekly close.. hammer it.. we could have weeks upside movement then chop.. .. plus isn't there an OPEC meeting coming up?.. I'd expect some action of some sort.. seems like the big boys may be anticipating one.

I'm going to close ES longs when SPX touches 1996, I might open up a small ES short position should SPX move on up to 2008. Note that shorting a strong rebound ain't a very smart trade
