Note to self: never buy puts on the VXX, you will lose $ even if you come close to the HOD for your puts. <sigh> <repeat 5x>. I would sell calls, but don't have enough $ in ye olde account to do so just yet

For those who keep a trading journal I have found wordpad to be Ok.
I can copy and paste charts into it.
I keep a link to it on the Start bar.

(Aside: it also has a date time stamp - as well as notepad's F5)

Question for everyone:
I set the page layout to landscape before pasting in a chart, but I need to do this each time I open it as it reverts to portrait format. I think if I could set the default page to landscape it might keep that format.
Does anyone know how to set it to landscape so it stays there?

On my tools I go into page layout; you can then choose the orIentation of either portrait or landscape...hope it helps

The gist is that you'll create a template RTF file with landscape, save it, and then move it to your system32 directory.

Then for your shortcut, reference the 'Default.rtf' at the end of your target location on the shortcut properties for your WordPad.exe link.

Every time you open WordPad.exe from it's default location in your c:\program files\windows nt\accessories directory, it will now default to your customized Default.rtf.
