On wider swings we have the following time targets:

A primary swing higher is close to starting. The word "primary" is NOT to be confused with Elliot wave. It is my own cycle language.

The first bounce from these lows on the next secondary swing should peak around June 20th at 10 EST.

Following that will be a pullback or consolidation to June 23rd at 1 EST.

Then the primary swing highs should peak around June 29th at 9:30 EST.

How do you get 12:15? What do you think the SPY will be topping at? I figure 128 for Fib 50% and EMA 50.

It is based on my own cyclical analysis. Unfortunately I cannot post the technique. However, you can track it.

My view is that you can take these times and look to see if a reversal trade makes sense at the time given. For example, if at resistance/support with unusual volume (either very light or very large) and divergences then consider a reversal trade.

Every trader needs to have time measurements on their trade. It helps refine entries and maximize profits. If not then you're missing half the equation! Price AND time. Time being more important than price, in my view.

Thanks for the info. I am going to follow for a few days to see if it works for me. :D

SPX at resistance 1272/73, higher up resistance at 1277 and 1288, lower down at 1261 and especially 1238. If 1261 does not hold 1238 looks real safe. All the information on this chart:

SPX - 15 MIN chart.png
Several failed attempts at 61.8 FIB line using 15 minute chart - no positive catalyst, no sense of urgency
from our politicians.

Hi Cletus, very good analysis. Does your analysis show the approximate price when the pick or the pull back will reach? Will the pull back around June 23rd make a lower low (lower than yesterday low of 126.68 on SPY)? Will the pick around June 29 make a higher high and approximately at what level on SPY? Thanks!
