Yes, we can!

I am following the strategy posted on Tue morning: bought puts during the first 3 days of the week , as cheap as I could. Today I already sold QQQ 57 P and SPY 127 P, both expiring on Fri the 13-th!
2 more factor sto keep in mind:
1. -Tim will be in China between Jan 11th and 12th.. Thus, the market will be “helped” to go up into the next weekly OpEx.
2. -In the meantime: ...rumors are that France will be downgraded and Germany will be “warned” tomorrow (Fri) right after close. I think that this is a “scarecrow scam“…

FYI...SOX now dn to 367.53..If this keeps up the QQQ's will loose it..If we can stay under 368 then this is bearish.

Great, thanks for clarifying. At first I ignored your charts due not they are my favorite. I like the simplicity and so far it appears your butterflies have been pretty spot on. Thanks for sharing! :D

In this particular ES chart, the magenta line is the WW while the purple ones are an AB=CD pattern.

The colors vary depending on how many patterns I want to highlight but generally speaking, magenta and purple are bearish while blue and green are bullish. Gold or yellow patterns can be either but are important.

Thanks for asking.

EURO is getting bought. Yes, its lower than it was last week which means equity should be too but, looks like bulltards want to rally on this euro strength.

To the bears out there
becareful ...
the wizard is saying caution and Cobra is say wait and lets see?
to me thats cover ...

futures trader at 7:05 AM just a quick note I forgot to mention for the Bear brothers out there..

Considering the dollar is so strong, and the market down some what, we are not seeing both gold and bonds respond to there moves...
Indicates maybe a bounce is on the cards later on..
Am I a buyer ...No but a profit is better than no profit at all.

For swing traders, India has become attractive. EPI & INP are ETFs that have exposure to India.

My chart below has the formula EWZ / INP x 100

EWZ is Brazil, which is also beat up relative to IWM (Russel 2000).
Disclosure: I possess EPI.

nice move Cougar.
Thanx…Now I can relax for a while and let time decay do its job!
SPY was stopped at the second support (yellow rectangle) coinciding in time with the Fan line.

Note for other people who might be following my trades: puts sold today were “sold to open”…obviously…
