If the EU looks like it will be in imminent collapse they'll sell those negative yields. Debt implosion has been Bernanke's nightmare. It is uncontrollable with no known tools.Al_Dente wrote:Treasurys sell off (TLT gap) as investors pile into stocks
Folks, u can’t make this stuff up:
“The Treasury Department is exploring the idea of issuing two new types of securities as a way of expanding the government's means of financing operations. One of the securities would offer a floating interest rate …. THE OTHER WOULD ALLOW FOR SECURITIES TO BE AUCTIONED WITH NEGATIVE YIELDS, WHICH ESSENTIALLY ALLOWS INVESTORS TO PAY THE GOVERNMENT FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF BUYING THOSE SECURITIES…”

I believe I did but for the life of me, can't recall what it said at this moment. "Fat Fingers" seems to have been BS is what I'm recalling.Unique wrote:Have u read their flash crash report?SWalsh wrote:interesting Nanex (They monitor quotes and first revealed how fast the computers were) chart on the mkt become unstable on the opening as compared to prior times. We are only about 7 points away from the previous high, so the window is coming to a close soon. By tomorrow, we should know if the double top with a NegD on the daily RSI is in play for the SPY or not.BullTart wrote:TVIX trade is coming to a cross road soon.
If the VIX RSI punches through the ascending line, and the SPY does not form a double top here, then I will be forced to exit the TVIX trade and eat the loss as that would be a failure confirmation of the trade setup.
We are nearing that point, so need to be disciplined here.
Yes, this double top will be bears last stand, do or die. really for bears, good risk reward spot for new position on both sides.BullTart wrote:We are only about 7 points away from the previous high, so the window is coming to a close soon. So, very key time.
If we rocket higher, it will be time to eat the loss. Of course, I don't think we will, but if it does, discipline will be exercised.
5min MACD is unsustainable to reach such highs.Cobra wrote:target. again, nowadays, this kind of target usually doesn't work. let's see this time.

That big pop on UNG turned out to be a dud. I will be watching this one down the road to see if it is something worth throwing money at. My TVIX trade started at 17.30 and ended at 17.20. Trying to figure out if I should have taken profits some time yesterday.Petsamo wrote:USO getting hammered
