Uh, apparently the ES crew thinks different.

4pm: 1214.25
Current: 1220.75

+0.45%

Not a shocker considering the ping-pong action today
Make that 1224.25 or 0.82%

Two things to worry about.... Greece has decided to put this vote up to the people whether or not to stay in the Euro and accept the bailout, or skip town, fully default, and go back to their old currency. The right thing to do is leave the Euro, but both options inflict a huge amount of pain on the people.

Now, if you were Greek, what would you do? (I ask myself)
I would go to the bank, withdraw all of my money, convert it to US dollars, and transfer it to a bank account outside of the country. This way I have preserved my buying power as the Euro devalues and Greek currency collapses.

If you were another Eurozone citizen what would you do?
THE SAME THING. Greece leaving will result in at least a short term hit to the Euro and with the potential dominos of Ireland, Portugal, Italy, etc this could become a cause for a major Euro collapse, or result in disbanding of the Euro. So again, remove money, convert to US dollars, and pray.

Either way if this referendum doesnt get canceled (and FAST) there could be a major bank run in Europe in the next few days.

What do you make of the last minute spike in the SPY that's not seen in the SPX?

Closing price of the cash (SPX) is based on the 4pm closing value of the components. The futures and the SPY
continue trading - they spiked after 4pm, that's why you don't see it in the SPX.

All cash heading into tomorrow- we could see a pretty huge gap to either side overnight... best of luck to those holding onto positions!

Knocked today out the park - much needed, as I've been on a losing streak!

I just ordered a big one from Amazon.com using your link.

Under Electronics, Search, I typed TomTom Go 2405TM. The results gave a link, and I clicked the link. I couldn't press Add to Cart right away, so I pressed Available though these sellers, then I clicked Add to Cart, immediately checked out, and pressed the buy button. That's $179.99 + $4.99 shipping.

I love TomTom. It's the 4th GPS I bought from them.
