it's heading that way now, no failure allowed since the daily candle is a clear reversal bar so far. not fair I am talking daily bar before the day is over, hey! some people mentioned weekly bar on Monday

testing day low, volume surge, so might see rebound here first, then we'll see.

It's sometimes useful to maintain JNK:LQD as well. When the two ratios are aligned and correlating well, the signal message from them (risk vs. safety) seems more reliable.

Thank you, I added that. I use a 24,52,1 MACD on the daily. It lags, but helps define intermediate moves. Nothing bearish here.

Considering a bear attack.. As BB says this could be a daily spinning top!

What's in bear's eyes? I see negative divergence, if histogram continue down next RSI of <50 is when the die-hard counter trend may act.

rebound as expected but so far looks like a bear flag, so might be another attempt on day low.

SPY touched the 50% Fibonacci arc. A turn to seek the next level (down to the 61.8%) before continuing up, would not be out of the question. SPY has been bound by this 50% to 61.8% fib arc since 27 aug

Three often-watched, NYSE up/down vol, NYSE advancing issues, and Nasdaq adv. issues, are all at bullish levels, but slowly eroding thru the day. However, in a strong short term uptrend, wishy washy weakness usually results in a consolidation, prior to resumed trending...

Also, cf earlier warnings on this board re NYMO excessive levels.

All portfolios and ETFs that are tied to the dow will need to sell AA, BAC, and HPQ….
