Update. Bulls want SPX to remain in blue rhomboid (where price is now). If it breaks back into the lower rhomboid - party's over.

Dear Twitter-Based Newsletter Sellers: The SEC Is After You

Post by Tutti »

So many crooks front running stocks and then touting them on twitter / newletters. SEC finally motivated and got on it!

Tutti, in this business everybody is a crook.

Honestly, what the banks or the brokers offer is not very different from what this Grimaldi is selling and tweeting. Do you believe that some big broker with elegant offices is any different?

The only reason I started to get interested in finance was the stupidity of the people who told me they could do this or that. Whoever asks them specific questions and is not easily fooled notices their ignorance.

That's why I started this :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

LOL - no, I totally get it. what gets me angry is so many stocktwit gurus pumping thin stocks you just know they are already in from lower prices, claiming their system has never had a losing year or is always facing the right direction in a trade. its a hard business and anyone who says different is lying, but some of these guys are so over the top...

I was the Chief Compliance Officer of my firm...and you cannot overstate your performance...against FINRA and SEC rules...their product may be the same as everyone else, but if you lie about performance that is a big no-no...

Another big no-no is not telling the SEC about "outside business interests"...which is what my ex is currently guilty of... :D :D He won't be happy when he is censured from his business and has to pay the SEC fines... we'll see...
