I'm going long, but gold miners only, no faith in regular equities.

Looks like consolidation near the low, which we all know what it means... i think i'm gonna skip this buying opportunity, i'll wait till Mr Miyagi's power hour.

For those who speak the language of currencies, the action over the current DayTrade timeframe (1.5 tradings sessions, imo) is murky but showing one clear conclusion. There is no great rush to the dollar anymore. Nor yet is the Yen going thru the roof. However, Cobra’s favorite, FXA (etf for the Aussie dollar), is languishing in both price and volume. And yet the steadily upslope Euro is NOT correlated with growing Risk OFF sentiment.

This all, to me, means there's no underlying reason to ignore ANY valid intraday BUY signal today-- such as one normally seeks, on the seasonally-favorable first couple days of a new month.

Weird, dollar is actually down today. Who would have thought?

$RVX (a BullBear52 volatility favorite) is showing a clear intraday H/S-lower high POTENTIAL pattern, here. At the same time, SPY holds 192 and IWM 110. A possible double bottom shows on Cobra's SPY chart.

NYSE adv/dec readings have been steadily improving these past hours.

Many US ETFs are outside their lower bollybands on daily charts, from where reversals emerge, in bull market corrections. Most major markets (esp. in the Asian and Western zones), are still above their long term MAs.
