Consumer staples warning! LONG TERM IS IN BEARISH TREND. Long term sell below this yellow line. not short term, not intraday, not a recommendation. just FWIW.

Unique wrote:NQ Update:

Two sided trade for NQ this morning, pretty easy day so far.

Buying and shorting the range has been very profitable for the past few sessions of this sideways market shake.

NQ at top end of the hourly range now.Great R/R short here on NQ hourly.
4524 short entry. Risk 5 for 20-25. Target 4500.

Done for the day, good luck.
Don't get trapped, stay with what's working :D

--
ES was basically the same buy the dip double bottom this morning, but I liked NQ better (perfect range bound)

Last update for the day, 4500 target was reached 11am.

Now we're at the range bottom of triple bottom/downtrend trendline.
Key time boys, 4480 needs a decisive bear hourly break or else it's BTFD again :D
It is a channel until proven otherwise :!:

Bear: 4477 - > 4455
Bull: 4480 -> 4500, great risk vs reward, 5 for 20-25 again.

Easier market today compared to yesterday, name of the game is still don't get trapped. Stay with what works

That said, NQ not Extreme Oversold Signal hourly like ES. ES more of a buy than NQ, even though ES is trying for a clean breakdown so far

Here is the problem as I see it. The IMF has forced the Fed's hand. They will have to raise interest rates now because if they don't, the hawks will claim that the Fed is bending to the will of the IMF and the Fed will look weak. If we were to get inflation under that scenario, the Republicans (and many Democrats) will then push to defund the IMF.

This was just an incredibly stupid move by Lagarde. I guess it wasn't enough that she wrecked Greece, now she has put herself in a very bad spot.

If "They" stopped it, then wouldn't recovering the 2100 level be the goal for the close.

My mid term setup will trigger the sell end of hour. chasing down, a winning strategy known as sell dips and buy deeper.
