Hey Edie, if you want to see old school pure long term chart reading with big bucks Peter Brant has made his last monthly chat with subscribers free to watch for the public. He does commodities and has for decades. Written a couple of books on reading long term patterns. He calls himself Factor Trading. I like the guy because he is the real deal and is totally honest about his trades that don't work. He is in the sunset of his career and I am guessing that he wants to pass on the skills that no one is interested in these days of algorithmic trading. I think you need at least $250,000 in capital to follow his recommendations.

longer term look at vix, some more than decent chances for higher levels ahead...

It was a 3:30 ramp, but it was 15 minutes late and it wasn't much.

Given uncertainty shouldn't the big boys be buying a volatility hedge with both hands right now. That is to say are they going to over buy the VIX by next Tuesday?
