EUR/USD - AUD/JPY - well below yesterday's lows
/DX above yesterday's highs.
VIX above yesterday's highs.
/ZB above yesterday's highs.
/CL well below yesterday's lows.
/ES FINALLY below yesterday's lows...
/YM AT yesterday's lows...

SPY?...50 cents from yesterday's lows.

Throw in HYG and IG bonds and they are showing the same story, ES has been higher valued compared to credit and fx... must be robot logic.

aapl holding onto it's slight day gains like a rock.

meantime...i can't believe SPY can't make a new low...everyone else has. -_-

Unfortunately, the ECB has a very narrow interpretation of "price stability". And adding more debt to solve a debt problem doesnt solve anything and neither does shifting the risk of holding the debt to somebody else. If the EU is to survive, the EU needs to learn to be accountable to itself and grow up.
As I see it, the Euro Sovereign Debt Crisis is nothing more than "musical chairs" and there are simply not enough chairs to go around. The music is winding down and everyone is frantically running around.
The EU has to bring in more chairs, otherwise the whole thing is going to collapse -- adding more chairs is basically monetizing the debt.

I dont believe Geithner's comments from yesterday, either.

hard to figure out what to do. SPY acting pretty strong, and negative d on /DX 5 minute...

yet VIX just regained 30 for a brief second.
