Bears dropped the ball again. Bulls just started buying CL when equity was at support. Buy CL --> turn XOM green --> Dow pops --> Bulls wipe out all selling in a 5 min candle. But can they hold it up there? Time will tell.

By the way - at Trader VIX Kauai - Managing the market from Hawaii is insane - its 545am right now!

Middle East is best - markets open about 4pm - which is perfect really

This is the 60 min, close up reveals a signal in about 3 or 4 hours. I checked the two timelines quite carefully, blue goes back to September 19th, red back to November 1st. As to the direction of the break - blue today could be either up or down, red Tuesday at the close most likely a reversal of what happens today in the afternoon. Last but not least: sometimes these signals are duds, nothing much happens. Wait for your own indicators to confirm direction of the move.

Still long.
I have been waiting to see post opex trading, and I am not liking what I see.
In particular, the weakness in the financials bothers me.
Mechanical model is in sell mode.
I have got stops on, but they are not quite in play yet. If they get run, it probably means rally time.
I would like to do nothing today, but I may end up hedged.

Update of the 1 min, the first timeline worked perfectly. I'm not trading these timelines, as I'm waiting for a bigger move in the early afternoon.

Bulls still got good defense line if 61.8% can not breached. bears need to work a little harder or Tim G will chew you up bears.

broke the trend line, still not much to say. Until bears breaks below 12/14 lows decisively, it's still a consolidation pattern which is not good for bulls but still cannot prove bulls are dead.
