Hard to exactly call TVIX safe, but it looks like it has room to run and even challenge Friday's high....use stops
Also watch UNG looking to break out of a triangle with a target of 6.50.

won't see it anytime soon. fundamental does not support it. reverse split is coming again.
I won't buy unless I see the breakout. UNG must clear and backtest $5.50 for the move above to be valid. I would rather be late to the party than early.
I played NG futures quite some days. Non-commercials are still net short, even decreasing. I didn't say NG at 2.5 is still too expensive, I just don't think it will
rebound to 3 - 4 anytime soon. May not be a good comparison, but silver got from 1-50 in a relative short time and drop back to 1 and stayed around 5 for a long long long long time, maybe 5 years. With new energies development and more gas found, it justifies the current level. Of course I wish NG would spike to 14, LOL.

if they give you free period, u can try to "make" the market now. such as buy otm oex at 0.01 then sell at 0.02. it is fun, but don't try it until you know the mechanism.
i stop using option house because i feel like they r trading against me on those not very liquid options. be aware.
The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.

Thanks to ECB overnight deposit again.
Tabby what kind of deposit? Do you have a link? thanks
Deposit made by european banks to ECB overnight account! They prefer lend money to ECB more than lending each other.
And last night war near record high... so no confidence between EU banks.

This is a real divergeance with US banks and TED spread (the lower it is, the more confidence there is).

The accumulation in TVIX last week was pretty obvious. The banksters were probably front running it, I only grabbed 10%, shoulda been more.

DBV is positive still, this intraday buy if no new HH, there is a little problem for da bulls. for da bears things are moving right along, more money from Japan, this might be good for another week or so.

Unfortunately, AUD/JPY doesn't look so weak...that's bullish for equities.

I better pay attention to your posting in future. Good Job, BullTart.
Please keep in mind that one should never make trading decisions based on what people say on the Internet.

Tabby, I know that you don't do this, but I want others who are reading this to understand this extremely important point.

Especially with TVIX, which is perhaps the most volatile cash instrument out there.

Now, having said that, we are "warming up" the TVIX engine right now.

Countdown to afterburner engagement may begin if the weather holds up here.

It's typical when market gets very bullish, nobody bother to read market comments anymore, so if the market keeps going up and up then we'll have less and less water here.

ECB will announce the terms of the latest LTRO, and demand is expected to be at least two to three times as large as the previous one, perhaps some analysts say, as much as €1.5 trillion. Please noooooooo no more bullishness, take a break please

hard to say it's consolidation or simply a top pattern, needs wait for the breakout.
