Do I need to spell out that the inverse of BTFD is STFR?

That which gets rewarded gets repeated. As soon as selling gets routinely rewarded they won't have enough money to negate the real economic backdrop. Have we reached that point yet? I believe that the next 2-4 weeks will be critical in finding that out.

Nassim Taleb (mathematician and author of "The Black Swan")has routinely pointed out that we have a cancer and put a bandaid on it and started a propaganda campaign to say all has been fixed, and that the really fixing can only be started with the removal of Bernanke. He reminds me of Himmler without an attitude - a marginal individual of no consequence who was given power and caused nothing but destruction as party officials profited. Taleb might feel more strongly.

i know u love fas 157. it is never suspended, rather it has been changed 4 times in 3 years. there is the 5th change called asu 2011-4. previously you need to define yr market then value accordingly. let's say gs can sell derivatives to their clients at certain rate, while i need to handle a premium because i am not as powerful. so the gs market is not the one i can enter to.
if i understand the new rule correctly, now you just need to find the highest price. u can just use gs rates, by just adding a little bit qualitative risk analysis. the remodel need is super high in the market right now.

i think jpm is just a start.

Today selling does not feel that bearish. I think we might have a short-term buy signal before market close.

Wondering if we get a move up to the top of this potential bear flag in the 580 range, then down to 520....??? We already had one measured move to (A), wondering if we get the same to (C)...??

The Venus retrograde gave a lower low in both silver and gold, which is what I suspected would happen. Looking at NUGT, we have positive divergence. We could rebound here for at least a few days...IMHO...

It would not supprise me if JPM is not the only one loseing billions in trading..This may be all Big Bens bucks that he has given (free ) to all big banks and institutions to prop up the mkt.JPM is not concerned about it because they do not have to pay anything back. Only us the tax payers are losing on both ends. Just a thought and IMHO. :?:
