They are pushing the liquidity up,up, up so this tells me the mkt wants to get closer to that 1420 hi and brick wall res. then maybe dn.

U can track volume on XIV (bull spy) and VXX, UVXY (bear spy)
But those ETFs move with VIX volatility
FUTURES not options
Check the cboe.com site for options volumes
Also bernie schaeffer may have some stuff on volume
OR a kind options trader could jump in here and offer a much better answer
