Yup! Happy talks are over. Tough talk begins. We have to remember they are negotiating.TraderGirl wrote:Boehner speaking on CNBC...Al_Dente wrote:WTF?

FWIW, this is actually good news. Boehner has to shoot down the Politico article I linked to earlier.TraderGirl wrote:Boehner speaking on CNBC...Al_Dente wrote:WTF?

I mentioned that there are 2 primary options:
1 Do nothing. blah blah blah
2. Roll over, but first put up a fight.
Given the trouble he's had w/ the teabaggers people tend to forget that Boehner is a deal maker at heart. This is deal making. Increases the odds of option 2— roll over, but fight first.
EDIT: Still believe option 1 is most likely outcome at this point.

Agree...the GOP will give in eventually...they saw that their policies did not win the election...so they will have to give in if they want to have any chances of Republicans winning in the next election..they know they will give in, they just have to put on a show that they are standing up for their proposed policies to save face...Sleeperz wrote:It is a given that the rich will be taxed more. The low income and middle class will be given tax cuts.
Only the details have to be worked out.

We like it down here when they are in session, keeps em out of town.TraderJoe wrote:An old ‘joke’ – What do they say about ONE politician dead lying on the bottom of the ocean? A good start
