You are right about the short side, NYDEC is right around 2500 which is an extreme area.

Crucial point coming up for USDJPY in the next hour. The lower trendline of its bear flag is going to meet the upper line of the channel down from Friday. It will have to pick a direction and it has the capacity to move the market with it.
