.

I take today as being the 'Yellen Vote of Confidence' POMO deployment. Have to make sure that whatever she says - is great!

Again, POMO is very extended. At this point, they've just about spent thru next Thursday - not much left. Really, only enough to hold it even for a few days. So, could hold it even tomorrow to get thru OPEX and then the bottom falls out. But, we'll see. End of Month is still Projected for 1790.

ALSO - watch for news on ECB QE! Maybe they are already know / factoring in ECB is going to implement QE.

Oh, I am supposed to give projections. How dumb of me! But before that do you remember seeing the green box before? This was a projection, BTW.
For now the limit of Team Green is 185.90 as long as they remain above the yellow horizontal line
Enjoy the game!
What? SPY closed at 186.10. My analysis sucks :o :o :o

Edit[15 mins after close]: Now StockCharts says 185.84. I am a genius :P :P :P

Have a good evening :D

I hope last number is right other wise I will eat a crow for dinner

I'm officially calling a bottom (intermediate to long term), Google "earnings" (isn't that an oxymoron anyway?) notwithstanding.
My decision is based on pattern recognition code that I've been running on the intraday readings on the VIX and also several key
ETF's and individual stocks.

OK, Google missed earnings. BFD.

All aboard. :o

SPY corrections

Some extensive research incoming regarding all the corrections on SPY dating back to late 2011 (I stopped but there were more examples back further!)

Have we bottomed? Let's look at the FIRST downtrend line for each correction given the first 5-6 days, when it broke, and what happened next!

To be clear: In every single correction dating back to late 2011, SPY broke out of the first downtrend line, and the correction was not over and instead we got lower lows as the correction wore on.

What is your definition of a correction?

I was under the impression that SP500 would have to hit something like 1707 (or SPY to hit like 170-ish) for this to be a "correction".
OK, I guess the Nasdaq composite almost made it to "correction" level.
And several individual stocks/sectors/ETFs. 8-)

Are you assuming we are in a "SPY correction".
