IWM the small caps, the “risky ones”
When IWM leads down, folks are getting rid of their “risky”
That’s “risk off” until the risky IWMs can perform better

Am noting the outperformance of XLI and XLB today. XLI in particular stands out; XLB is being juiced by positive precious metals returns.

Also, the homebuilders are strong.

USO, some emerging markets, and regional banks were especially weak.
