I did that. Happy to get 4% in a day. Not worth the risk with BAC. The chart is scary.

equities diverging from dollar and bonds, as dollar and bonds have been rising as well as equities, we'll see which one is right.

hey Uncle Al,

i took most of last week off. this market is undeniably confusing to me, so have been back to the drawing board - and part of that is re-evaluating the tools with which i make decisions.

i did go long oil and long eur on wednesday before heading out of town.

i'll probably be posting much less, but will always be following. good to know what ya'll are up to...

I liked Education of a Speculator. Don't take these guys word for word, Niederhoffer had techniques which might be more wacky than TA - e.g. music... E of a S is fun to read!

So the cloud is tough resistance? And if price slices the cloud it's up, up and away?

So far, the banks are not looking good today. I'm hoping it'll bottom mid-day. Hope is in the strategy. I can't sell my JPM today.

I'm not happy with the market actions so far, but I'll give it more time, yes, I'm a little bit impatient, simply consolidate here all day doesn't make a strong day, rather it's a distribution day.

I am watching Al. It creeps me out when it does something like this. I am not sure what is at work here but assume someone sizeable was stopped out and got skewered.
