thank you--the key thing to me is "can we get so close to 1550-1570 that the first sell looks like a top. no clue where "close is". but the higher we go the more that sell is likely (at least short term). the psych is pretty clear as everyone will watch the sell and then buy the first dip of the top--if we manage to get over the sell point--they will be totally gung ho as "see it didn't fall apart we are in a new bull". then things get interesting. one of the best things i ever learned was not to be too exact with ta--and to really enjoy false breakouts and false breakdowns. when people are just starting these things will drive them nuts--later you are praying for them as they often are very very good signals.
good luck to you and your son
Thanks Taggard for all the thoughtful insights you provide here - from the FWIW file I have an upside objective of 1640 basis cash based on the McCellan Summation with completion by Sep/Oct of this year, it comes from the high registered prior to or coincident with the third higher peak in the summation representing the half-way point in the move. An interview by Ike of Tom Mc at about the time of this third peak had Tom looking for sideways into June based on Eurodollar historical performance but he mentions in passing that the move is half over. I went back to the last two iterations to project the above mentioned objective.
For TraderGirl the timing also lines up with something Merriman has espoused, Jupiter in Gemini, looking at the two cited examples it appears Tops occurred with Jupiter direct but within one month of either going or exiting retrograde, this also lines up with Sept/Oct time line I show from the McSum.
Again all in the L/T FWIW category
Thanks to all contributors and wishing us all good fortune....

And she can give u nightmares
“Stops” offer NO PROTECTION from overnight gaps, as they don’t trigger in overnight markets, they only trigger in daytime market hours
….. or did they change that rule too??
Thanks Dr. Al, two for two so far. any how no swing buy to hold over night just yet.
Bearie: what does that mean "two for two" ?

failed double bottom target but still not bad looking for bulls, the previous bar could be an exhaustion bar therefore we might see rebound here.

CONGRATULATIONS BARON great trades
I’m just trying to caution you against using “TVIX” and “swing” trade in the same sentence.
A newbie might get carried away and get CREAMED.
Only fair if you post a BUY (on a long or short) double/triple juiced trade, that u also post the SELL
Know what I mean?

the feeling is up, but I cannot explain the other assets are selling off, so I'm neutral with a little little little little little little little little little little little little bullish bias.
