I am new here, but was wondering if you could reconcile your bullish view (upward bias) with the 138.8 target on SPY. I am guessing different time frames, but will help to understand more.
Welcome aboard.

When I set target to 138.82, the bias already changed. This is day trading, you have to change fast.
Does that mean you are now bearish with same target/downward bias?

Thanks!
I'm neutral.

yes, could be a descending triangle, but whatever triangle is continuation pattern, I don't mean it won't break down, I just want you to know that descending triangle is continuation pattern, not reversal pattern. I agree, it looks like the price want to break down though at the moment.

XLF/FAS

the market will have a big fight here once XLF hit 15.5ish. if failed the trend for financial will be down from up at this juncture. I will take at least 50% off the table if you short FAS or XLF. be nimble they are not in down trend just yet.

here's what I mean, decision point. I know it sounds nonsense, the price not up then down, I cannot be wrong anyway. I just want to mean it's key time.

For good reports on REITS..seekingalpha.com And then enter REITS in the box and you get all kinds of info.I have 3 Reits and am heavy in RSO.Based on the stock price they are paying 18% around $300 per Qtr.They are a little high now but I got in a few years ago for under $2 so I have some slack. So far they have always paid the $300 per qtr.REITS have to be watched but they pay good.

Al, Valance, failing signals do carry information - I think bears/bulls are still fighting it out. I'm just waiting for some end of month/quarter strength which I want to short. Might not work out, because short term momentum has turned down...

it is boring today. u can call it dbl bottom for now, but i also see a series of lower highs, even tho they are very small as compare to the open gap.
another stuck in the middle time, it is a little bit too long. there is chance we don't get answer today.

Bought fcx at 37.1. Filled the dec gap twice yesterday and today. I know it's iffy but adding to existing position.

SOKU
I don’t see reversal yet
I use “higher time frame” 60 min and daily renko, with different brick sizes (eg: 60 min/60 cent bricks), but rarely check them intraday.

Upper is just a simple STO
I don’t post settings on soft indicators as I CHANGE THEM ALL THE TIME, also I change them from stock to stock, and ETF to ETF.

I just need something to tell me what to do, mechanical-signal like, no dickin’ around, no over-thinking.
My benandlloyd renko does the trick, but that’s just me.
When the mkt whips around, she will too; that’s the nature of the beast

PS: my best signal by far is King Cobra
