Seeing fresh articles from gold bulls. One preferring to go long range and look at it from 2011-present and calling it a "consolidation". Another one now saying the dollar is toppy. Meanwhile, gold hitting new lows today.... No capitulation yet.

SPX 15m... possible support here ... V = 1971ish.. see the open gap?.. if it goes down into that range.. expect a gap fill. imho

NY declining stocks = 6.1x advancing stocks

Short. Stopped in yesterday afternoon.

My summation signal is down.
My composite trend signal turned down at the close on Tuesday.

I honored a trend model signal yesterday from the road.
As I have been traveling, I only took a partial position and have room to add more.
My market moves big when you are unavailable principle strikes again...

I plan to be nimble and actively manage this exposure (profit or BE stop and reload tactic) if necessary as there are issues.
Quarter-end window dressing could override the deteriorated technical condition of the market over the next few days.
Also, the NYMO cycle chart suggests a low soon, which is a concern.
Price is tagging the 50 day MA and my middle keltner while NYMO is in oversold territory.
This should be supportive.
That said, oversold markets can get more oversold and even plunge.
So, we'll just have to see what happens because, as usual, I have no idea.

SPY had originally chosen to go up once bb width turned up. There was a low chance that it could be a fakeout and price could turn around. If that occurred, we'd enter a long correction. It appears we got the low chance scenario this time.

Of course, this is where traders get killed. Bulls always see things as going up. Bears always see things as going down. Traders always see things are being ranged. So they'll play their fibs and pivots and think they see where to go long and we'll smash right below them all.
