I don't read it's a back test of broken price channel because rare it works. I think it's Triangle so bias is up.

Gap up goes exactly according to bear plan.

If you see a strong reversal within the first hour, that could signal the end of the recent up move. Bulls are facing a confluence of resistance here. Intermediate trend is still down despite recent strength.

If you look at IWM it appears a bear flag is forming which looks like it might be complete around 112.50ish on Monday afternoon /Tuesday morn? IWM patterns have been much more reliable. It also appears that the pbar of 196.75 Mr. Myagi has been showing could actually be the turning point on SPY.

5 min QQQ goes to bears, current value < open value

10 min goes to bulls, small push up but still in the resistance zone

has anyone else noticed that since the bottoming day a week ago, every overnight session on the ES starts to rally at 3AM EST, when Europes desks come on? Also many days I have noticed that the AM sessions horsepower diminishes greatly (and generally the days high or the days first real sell pressure) as soon as the Europeans go dark at 11:30AM EST.

or maybe I am crazy

Dollar is rising, our economy is more solid, why not invest in US as a safe haven. I see the same thing. What I don't know where to see a chart of capital flows.

that's fairly typical of what I've seen over the past few years...at least among some traders they look for turning points in the market as Europe closes

QQQ update, bulls are trying to press above the line, but a false breakout is still a possibility, for now it doesn't seem to be happening, well, if it does break there's more resistance up at 98.88
