SPX .. Mind the lower open gap... weekly candle a tad weak.. will they try to save it? Break lower pink 2 week trend, as VIX breaks out of bullish falling wedge = sharp drop

AAPL closed above daily 20EMA for the first time in 35 sessions. Should be interesting to see if it gets a squeeze back to 118-119 for the perfect backtest of resistance.

ES: Long 1930, target 1950, stop 1927 might be the easiest trade of the week. 9/11 stats not bad odds either

AMZN: 1HR+Daily 20EMA bull train. Looks like setting up for a squeeze next week to 539~ assuming we do not break above high of the week today. Well done bulls

Today is most likely a non-event. Monday is the big day. On Sunday Sept 13 China publishes the August data for Industrial Production and Retail Sales.

Watching XOP flirting w fresh LOD... the oil svc stocks have been the first sector to swoon on several of the recent rollover market swoon days..

TLT exhibiting strength.. >50d <20d .. those dailies, SPX, INDU, TRANS.. very pretty bear flags

This is the current ES weekly candle. Bulls doing everything in their power to sticksave or else risk a massacre next week if it closes like this.

GOOGL: Pattern is very similiar to AMZN. Setting up for next week squeeze potential to 672-674~, hopefully it closes above daily 20EMA like AAPL did yesterday.

Recall that the huge down day on 8/24 was a FLASH CRASH, an HFT event rather than an “organic” crash. What can we compare that to?
Here’s a lookback to the famous FLASH CRASH of 5/6/10 (or was it 5/7/10?)… see red vertical line.
Ater that event there were 2-3 months of bouncing around. THE FLASH CRASH LOW WAS TESTED and we bounced off a double/triple bottom, then another test MADE A LOWER LOW before the market finally hit a higher low and recovered.
Chart is daily, as of yesterday’s close.
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME OTHER “FLASH CRASH” DATE(S) for further comparison?
