Just FYI, ES December current price = 1983, ES Sept current price = 1993.5 (above 1993).

SPX current price 1993.5, above previous Aug 28 high of 1993.48

SPY current price 200.07, above Aug 28 high of 199.84.

Squeeze potential is real.

TC2000 has 4.8K 12:19, 123.3K 12:20, 122.7k 12:21. So, huge buys, slightly different times.

CL traders moved fast when someone read the weekly production and inventory report and moved it right back to resistance. Next chance will be the Baker Hughes rig count on Friday. With drillers desperate to raise money as the banks come at them with "revolver raids" one would assume that the rig count will be falling for a long time.

That was the boost the SPY/ES needed to move up this morning. When CL stopped at 11:20 it looks like the pattern from earlier in the morning returned. With no more bad economic news to bring the market up this afternoon I am guessing they are left with hammering the VIX down in order to set off the correlation bots, if they need a higher market before Aunt Janet speaks.

My indicators have pretty much returned to where they were prior to the energy report.

ES Update:
I am seeing early signs of the Hourly Extreme Overbought Signal that I mentioned in last night's thread.
Just putting out there, bears still have a chance at 1987-1993 (with minor res at 1982). So far HOD = 1981.

Until then, this is just a classic 1HR 8EMA+20EMA bull train as mentioned earlier this morning. The trend is your friend

ES: Bull train in threat, possible momentum shift from bull ->bear. 15m 8ema+20ema bull train for past two days.

Key time on 15min chart. Bulls, this is your classic sticksave spot.

If can't hold 1975, bears target back to 1971 (previous day's close line)

Looks like the Extreme Hourly Overbought Signal worked well for bears so far. 1982 minor resistance was great for bears.
