my 2011 comparison was just about last week's blast higher and this week's pullback.... and so far it is coming true, though as usual in slightly different form as the same day in 2011 was a Monday and was a GAP and GO DOWN.

I know a lot of folks are watching to see if the 2011 model plays out, but:

• Wasn't the fundamental firepower behind the recovery move more QE? If yes, what is the firepower to take us higher now?

• Isn't there a strong whiff of recency bias attached to looking at the very last pullback as a model for the next one? Why not look at 2007 highs or 2000 or...

Not picking on anyone or any idea, just questioning the logic behind it.

Seems like that's the only option.. it is AAPL after all.. but a miss, or guidance on weak watch/iphone sales? heaven forbid.. a miss.. how much pressure would that cause on the indexes… until FOMC stick save?

That 200sma on SPX still holding. Tested a few times today, bears will eventually give up and die. Maybe even now....

Long term on AAPL the counter trend (CT) buy is a success , now we have new HH, so next dips or breakout will be a buy, for last HH changed my bearish view on its long term.

Well, they still have Goog, FB, MSFT. It may be like yesterday where aapl dropped big but qqq still held, till Fed announcement.
