ES: The hourly candle closed above 2054 opened up the 78.6% fib target of 2078. Then 2095

Yes, quite so, the real question is why this sector responded as it did. Usually the tendency is to run up before a big headline event, then sell off or consolidate as it concludes...

Could also be related to tax selling for the year, which suddenly abated-- squeezing shorts and running stops...

Next year I will gear toward weak dollar, strong commodities and energy.

for that my main focus will be moving away from SPX and standard indexes, that said good luck to everyone on this SPX/ES board, I have learn so much from all of you.
