Some chances we had the higher low for GLD and GDX. GDX is more obvious as the revisit of the low was clear. Considering GDX might have good chances the low was in therefore it should also add chances for GLD.

Let's see.
The weekly GLD is clearly a bull flag and GDX is kind of too so even the above conclusion is wrong, I don't expect GLD, GDX to crash from here.
