Some chances it's a small double bottom here therefore might be a rebound upon open. That said even it does, the pattern is too small for a solid bottom so likely the rebound would be sold.

Twitter feed person I follow said last three VIX expirations have averaged about 100 down points for the Wednesday and Thursday.. I am going to mark my calendar !

The NYMO cycle is down.
The last up cycle was only good enough for a corrective move to the middle keltner band, which held as resistance. Not good.
The 200 MA is on deck, and the month low lurks a little below it.
Bulls should mount a defense in this neighborhood.
If they don't, things are very bad.
Even if we get a bounce around the 200 MA, if that test fails, price will be open to proceed to those open gaps below.
So, next week and month end could be a critical time.
I am still short. My long hedge was profit stopped (small) during the bounce.
I never got a long swing signal.
I am just sitting tight and doing nothing for now but will pay attention as the 200 MA gets tagged.

No sharp rebound in the next couple of bars then it's a downtrend day.

Mr Bachnut, thank you. Always look for your posts. Unfortunately, agree. It has been a while since we have been at risk for a high volatility event, the risk for that is here. Hope it does not happen.

Possible higher low (green arrow) so some chances the low was in, not sure as after all so far the trend is down so calling a bottom must be prudent.

swing setup: for trend following there is no good news for buyers, bearish play and rips will be sold.

MACD visit: bigger picture, a bearish crossed under zero line, very bearish, LL will be the least expectation target from here.

I will pay attention to the $vix from here on out, this will be a super volatile time for the market, from what happens world wide today, but if you are equip for the volatile market, it will be the most exciting time to trade. Peace!

Testing day low, seems breakdown is more likely than sharp rebound before the close. Typically there'll be a strong rebound before the close though.
