Spx Jan call option sellers not hurting too bad yet, we need big sqeeze soon

SPX Jan option put and call sellers hoping for SPX 1475 at Fridays open

There is substantial open interest in SPX Jan calls in every strike above 1375 with virtually none in the puts.

I'm not saying it will happen, but could be huge short covering rally. Short call holders do not want price above these levels

I looked back at the 20 year daily SPY chart this weekend to see how times the low of the SPY was completely above the Bband high. I visually saw 3 times. Results were sideways (2 weeks) or up.

Not very statistically with only 3 data points though.

I do not understand why TLT is falling after Uncle Ben said he would buy $40 billion of bonds a month to force interest rates down. Why are rates rising and TLT falling? Any thoughts? Thank you. 60,000 June SPX cash 1325 and 1330 options traded so far today. These expire at open Friday. Perfect squeeze.

ok this could really be interesting. SPY close outside of BB on the up and VIX with a massive reversal to close back inside the BB. I am totally comfortable watching this one play out from the sideline. Skinned some profits today and so rest will be easy. last time SPY closed above BB was 11/4/10

Swalsh, I've been trading since 1976 and find most Ewavers honestly admit that is it very subjective. They usually have Plan A which is the most probable, then Plan B, and finally Plan C.

many Ewavers have trouble agreeing on what has happened
