saw some people posting about gold bottoming again in the last 12 hours. wham down it goes again!
GLD weekly... that green line is similar to the long uptrend line in GOLD (1200ish range) from the 2001 lows.. so a 10+ year uptrend... break it.. could get ugly.DellGriffith wrote:starbucks is the new coca cola.

chetas, my understanding is: today's ES front contract stopped trading at 9:30am EST. It's final price will be determined by SOQ. What is SOQ:chetas wrote:Friends , Can anyone tell me what will be the Settled value of ES Sep 2014.
The last traded rate ES Sep 2014 is 2019.25, but i know it is settled at opening price , but what is the opening price is it the S&P500 index opening price. i see in yahoo finance, the opening price is 2012.74. I bought ES2015 put for pennies, will i make some money. As per the opening price of 2012.74/-, the in the money value of the put will be settled at 2.24, is that correct ? can any one guide me.

Believe Goldman Sachs' 2014 target is $1050 - GOLD end of day chart...DellGriffith wrote:Back in 2013, Goldman Sachs called for $1200 (minimum) in 2014. Gold bugs laughed then. Laughed even a month ago. Only $17 away now. Basically, if gold bottomed now, it would still be considered a good call.
Goldman Sachs is good at making calls.
