Edit: on the hourly the 200 dma is sitting right at support of wedge...so important support as well..

goog already has 4.7 mil shares short
if no more shorts are allowed, the existing shorts may cover/take profits
(all IMHO, a catastrophe decline is RARELY a one day event)
