Benny and company are defending that SPX 1400 line to the death.
Bears can't win unless a big blow financial blow up somewhere in Europe.

Ben was just waiting for the bears to get on the 'merry go round. now He's going to throw them all off...... at high speed.
No one messes with "bully Ben"....... the nastiest kid in the playground.
China, India, & the DAX rallied from a gap down. If we finish this high, overseas markets might sell off from their gap up, then we should gap down tomorrow.

Hey LT. Below are some charts of mine on GDX. I'm long DUST so please kep in mind they are through my bear lense[/quote]
What do you think of the breakout on the daily with yesterday's bar? If we don't get further down today we'll have two consecutive closes above the daily 20 EMA. That's one of my shorter-term triggers that a new trend is starting.

Agree that's certainly bullish. This is always said by everyone I know BUT "the next couple days will be telling in my opinion." If there's follow through on the downside tomorrow and Monday one could argue yesterday was just another lower high on the daily. But seasonally November appears to be a good month for Gold/Silver and TraderGirl has a turn date for them now I think.
Not trading advice obviously
this pullback may touch EMA20 blue line, then we'll see if any H2 long there.
