Free charts showing a 21/55 cross. Little to look forward to next week on the calendar and whatever they print won't help this stallspeed economy, it's getting priced in pre-election pop or not. Europe volatility increasing. Need a congress that will address the fundamentals going forward. Feel like I ate a spoiled g'hopper.
‘the petrodollar is our currency and our problem’....Gappy
I have my portfolio perfectly hedged now for the weekend. 16 point swing in the SPY today and my value has moved by 0.1%. I'm keeping it this way for a while.

We'll know they mean business if we set a lower low, and overseas markets stop rallying.
You watch fertilizer names right? MOS is looking like a short here if the market continues with it's weakness (time frame of days not intraday). Don't short AGU though that thing has been anti-gravity since June.
"The new budget that Samaras presented to his parliament on Oct. 31 projects that Greece’s government debt will rise to almost double the size of the economy in 2013, or 189.1 percent of gross domestic product. As we’ve shown before, the kinds of budget surpluses needed to bring that level of debt under control are not historically plausible for Greece." From Ekathimerini.com.

The rebound in ADM was also very weak FWIW.
I looked into MOS, and I've been watching POT & MOO. MOS & POT are weak relative to MOO. I wish I knew why because POT is an outstanding company. DE & MON are doing fine.
I just looked into ABX & GDX. ABX is getting beat up too. I dunno what's going on.
PAGING XIAN
I luv EARLY billie………but it’s too painful to hear the heroin in her mature voice
Can u show me yr aapl gap? “””AAPL just filled it's last gap”””
Or was that “last gasp”
thx
Al,
YES, last gasp. Thought, WRONGLY, that the 585 gap could be it— next gap is 562-563, is that right?
NOT that I believe all roads lead to gap fill, but....
Also, I guess you could say there's some support here at 580?
there was a monster AAPL gap (already filled) on 4/24 to 4/25
$555 up to $606 which was their blowout eps report in April
That was support was tested and re- tested; she stopped there again on 7/25 at $570 which also matches our current dome target
Today she is busting her own 200sma with not many buyers around
[frankly i was expecting more bouncing....]
