Stimulus package, 36% was tax cuts for Republicans. That's not compromise.

Heathcare: went with the GOP idea of individual mandate rather than the liberal idea of single payer. That's not compromise.

Greenhouse gases: Went with the Republican idea of Cap and Trade (proposed in the 80s, signed into law by GHW Bush). That's not compromise.

Debt Ceiling Hostage situation: Proposed $3 in cuts for every $1 in taxes. That's not compromise.

Yeah, you've convinced me. That "boy" better just learn to compromise.

In case you don't read papers, there was an election on Tuesday. The American made their choice and now it's time for you to jstfu. However, I will let you in on a little secret that practically every single person on the planet already knows: It's the losers who "compromise" with the winners. Not the other way 'round.
