I noticed (mostly EOD chart) that GDX is losing its correlation with GLD and spot $GOLD
Maybe because lately real gold is performing better than the miners.

Giving thanks for this hidden bull market.

How can you determine it's a bull market if it is hidden ?

Are we higher than March 2009, June 2010, Oct 2011, June 2012 despite bad news making us feel bearish?

If you can see that it's a bull market, then it can't possibly be hidden.

So why are there so many bears?

SPY daily doesn't look bullish. Earnings are dropping. Debt to GDP ratios are climbing. No major country has pro-growth policies. etc etc

Just wait for the MSM tunes to start -- Santa Rally, followed by buy in Jan
just last week
"buy before Thanksgiving - trade of the year!"
to be quickly adjusted to
"buy just after Thanksgiving trade of the year!"

If the thieves ramp it up - the baby bears will quickly get scared and the retail will quickly ramp it back up...

and you'll see
"it's never going down again!" flying..

and baby bear will get frightened

If we get a price that looks like a big fat juicy turkey ready for the axe in the days ahead, I may short if I am paying attention.
The trend has not confirmed up yet, and a bottom test will be in order at some point.
My plan though is eat, sleep, watch football and not pay attention. (So sayeth the market junkie... )
