Imo market discounts politico noise, moves on quantum algos.

A robot makes the decision to short or go long the markets ? No human programs the algos ?

Heard somewhere retail traders account for 1/4 of cap movement, can't recall where though so this prob reflects in my bad trades when that happens. As for algo's, yes they continually reprogram themselves. Kinda look at overbought/oversold swings in a stock, then guess on the direction of the next movement as to price/time. Sometimes not good, today so far the portfolio is up.

There are many cases where a beat up quality stock will continue to get slammed down much further.
A robot will make the decision to continue to slam the stock and not go long on it ?

Historically small caps lead the market up and down, so my perspective is this is a good sign for bulls for intermediate / longer timeframes
