Hi,

Just a quick observation on market internals. SPX is at/around 1315 but BPSPX not quite following thru as well as the cumulative breadth for SPX. Also, NYSE not selling as much, which could mean that yesterday's selling was not that broad-based, but on the other hand (like Cobra mentioned) it means that large caps are being dumped by institutions.

Yesterday the large caps were flat: BPNYA - 0.99%, BPCOMPQ - 0.82%, BPSPX - 0.54%, all other bullish percentages like OEX, NDX and INDU flat.

so far the dip buyers failed twice on this run down, right now we are on the 3rd one, will it be the charm? I cover my SSO here.

comment re NFP tomorrow: the street has taken NFP estimates down a lot in the last two days (far below the 170k number floating about, some have taken it down to 100k). if we can rally/bounce today, think the downside is more real, but if we trade sideways to slight down (barring another real breakdown) then I think the mkt will be buying a bad number.

fib, chiosc, info only. only spy made a lower low. QQQ/RSP/IWM not, so probably the rebound is for real but eventually it'd fail. I just hope it could last a day or two.
