It isn't too difficult to predict the next move in the market. Let's look at leading indicators.

The VIX is absolutely slammed today. Doubtful people would be unwinding so many puts if some kind of a low wasn't put in this morning.

IYR, a leading sector, is up quite a bit on the day. The market will follow it higher.

No need to say much more, regardless of the close, not a bad idea to accumulate for a bounce early next week.

info only, I'd change when different pattern unfolds. what I put on the chart now is just a normal pattern from my experiences...

the nasdaq is lagging the S&P's performance intraday. Its terrible.

if the current rebound can pass tinted area, then no more big drop today likely, so this is the critical 3rd push, it doesn't have to be higher high, may fail at any time if still bears are in control. again, just a normal pattern, i don't know the path...
