Net Long. Carrying longs and shorts.
Worked hedge yesterday. Strength today would stop it out.
My composite trend indicator is up but issued a potential change in trend warning yesterday. Continued weakness could possibly turn it next week. Guessing it will hold though.
My summation signal remains down and sent a fresh signal yesterday. It would be shortable, especially if yesterday's lows were broken, but for the fact that MO is oversold.
So, nothing to do here. Worth revisiting if the MO corrects back to the zero neighborhood as a rally may be a set up to retest yesterday's low. The opening trade this morning got MO out of oversold intra-day but not close to zero. Need to see how the day progresses.
I look forward to see how the week closes this afternoon. Looks like trading equities may get more interesting in the day's ahead.
Doesnt the coming sequestration bias your trading at all in either direction either before or after an agreement? What I mean is, is it a mistake to rely on short term technicals too much with this known event coming very soon?

My comments were dictated to me by homie the clown
The only thing weird and unusual about this renko is the VXZ
INTRADAY 5min
The volatility measures on the top panel ALMOST ALWAYS MOVE TOGETHER
But VXZ (medium term vol) is moving contrary…. towards bull spy, med-term
(see green circle, arrow)
FWIW..................

It is baked in as we move along. The "tell" of an impending dump will be evident as in all other times. Sheeple will withdraw in fear, traders will trade it. Cobra's the man.

Edit re VXZ
I think that means that the futures traders of MEDIUM TERM VOLATILITY are a bit bullish at the moment
They don’t believe my sell-spy signals on my daily charts...

gap I like your chart configurations here (and on most of yr other charts)
especially the “bar code” low to high one
as a consumer, I have been programmed to immediately want to buy that “bar code”
keep up the good work, seriously http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXUDfoLyirU

The far end of VIX term structure (which what VXZ represents) tends to "not in alignment" with the near term end on turning points;usually it is early for buy and late for sell SPY.
Currently all in sell mode.
