GLD shows 5 waves up from today's low before pulling back as does SPY. Both due for pullback which I believe will likely be 3 waves. I have UPRO long from this morning 62.40. Will establish a swing long position GLD position at my target for the pullback 116.5ish. Also swing long FSLR again which might chop around for awhile, but starting to see IHS setup that should reach 50 area if triggered.

The chart below should explain the differences between my live update and the members only update. Please be sure you know the difference. This is a very basic concept in trading. In 5 min chart I say the bias is up, it doesn't mean on 60 min chart the bias is up, in fact, very often the 60 min chart bias maybe is down. Up or down, it's just a relative concept, all depend on your trading time frame. Please please please be sure to know the concept.

anyone,
days like today cobra's live comments confuse me if i have a swing position. does anything in this live commentary nullify a call in the members only update? do not intend this as negative. sometimes i am very confused how to meh this section with the member's only section if i'm just trading swing. appreciate you cobra very much.

I can't speak for Cobra.

This section is for day trading and the calls are very short term.
If a person is trading the ES small moves are big dollars and swing calls and swing positions are almost irrelevant.
I wouldn't try to meld a swing trade with this section except for fine tuning of an entry or exit but that is only an add-on to ones' multi-day analysis.

As an example, my multiday analysis is that a top was likely made on Thursday- yesterday.
However, as I mentioned in my Video on page 1 - This is Friday ="crooks Day" the manipulators can do what they like today -which is fleece the sheep with confusion. They can whip it up and down until you are so confused that you don't know which way is up.

So my suggestion to you is read the very first post of Cobra each day of this section and see how or if it impacts your swing thinking -having made up your mind last night if today was a day you would likely enter or exit a swing position.

Today (cobra):
"Double Top or not (targeting 1596.50) we'll have to wait and see. Even it is bulls are far from over as the pattern is too small to be a real threat to bulls."

You an see this is very valuable for a day trader. It opened at 1601.75 rose to 1604 and the started to fall and fell to his 1596.50 and more 1594.25 at 9:07. Then in the second sentence " Even it is bulls are far from over as the pattern is too small to be a real threat to bulls." so that means you can buy once it has stopped falling - which you know will be about 1596.50 area and it was. It is now 1609+ and still rising towards my target of 1611.25 or perhaps more. (see vid post).

For a day trader:
1604 down to 1594.25 = 9.75 pts
1594.25 to 1611.25 =17 pts
9.75+17=26.25 *50 = $1,3112.50 per contract

For a swing trader you should have made up your mind last night if today was likely to be an action day for you.
If it was then here is how you would use the first post:

If you are swing trading and you believe the market is getting to a top, and going to start falling then you would wait until this rise is complete of a top 1611.25+= and yesterdays' high was 1614.25 so it go to 1618.50 - the exact level isn't important just that is is higher and later in the day.

So if you are swing trading and you believe the market is going higher, higher then you would have bough at the low area Cobra indicated 1596.50 or lower - once it stopped falling.

So this daytrading section is only if you are making a swing entry today/exit based on your long term analysis and it helps to fine tune your swing trade.
