There's a dangerous pattern forming on REM, the mortgage REIT.

Since this REIT was created in May 2007 the stock market has been sensitive to its lower highs. Sometimes stocks fall on its first lower high, sometime they don't. A second lower high is more powerful, and there only a few examples of reaching a third - which will always blow out the stock market.

We seem to be forming a second lower high right now, unless REM picks up. And recently the market has been reacting to second lower highs.

One single indicator can't be the basis for a trade, but it does look dangerous.
