Checking in on a blue grid line which tends to be quite reliable: it doesn't let SPX jump back. Resistance at the moment 1730ish..

it took 15 TDs to get to intermediate low and only 5 TDs to get almost back to prev high

To me that was seemly a mild correction and now bulls should resume trend.
