I'd say bearish myself. When the bands tighten and price hovers in the upper half of the band, it almost always breaks down.

I mean, price is WAY above the 200 dma, well above the 50 dma, the entire bollinger band is above the 50 dma, and price is in the upper half of the band. Its EXTREMELY hard for price to break out from that position. If price had flattened out in some lower position, there would be room for a breakout. I'd just be shocked if it happened here. A breakout here would imply some sort of record distance between price and the 200 dma and 50 dma. Not something I would ever bet on.

I'm saying if we DO break out, the compressed energy of the tight bollinger bands is saying a large breakout...and price should set some sort of record distance between it and the 50 dma and the 200 dma.
